Mission Spotlight: Benevolence Fund
At Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, we believe that caring for our neighbors is one of the most meaningful ways we live out Christ's love. Our Benevolence Fund exists to provide compassionate, practical assistance to individuals and families facing unexpected financial hardships within our community at the pastoral discretionary.
Through the Benevolence Fund, we are able to help with essential needs such as rent, utility bills, transportation, gasoline, groceries, and other emergency expenses. Whether someone is experiencing a temporary setback or navigating a difficult season, this ministry offers hope and support when it is needed most.
Every gift to the Benevolence Fund makes a direct impact. Your generosity allows our church to respond quickly to urgent needs, helping neighbors remain safely housed, keep the lights on, get to work or medical appointments, and find encouragement during challenging times.
