Spotlight of the Month
This month’s Mission Spotlight shines on our Common Good Community Dinner.
Every Wednesday at 5:30 pm, we welcome 60–70 people to Chapel Hill for a hot meal, a place at the table, and an opportunity to connect. But what happens on Wednesday nights is about so much more than food.
You can find a meal in many places. What you can’t always find is someone willing to sit down, listen, and genuinely care. That is what makes our Wednesday dinner special.
We are continually looking for ways to strengthen this ministry—from the meals we prepare to the way our volunteers welcome, serve, and connect with our guests. As this ministry continues to grow, we need the support of people who believe in the power of a shared meal and a caring conversation.
Your donations help provide the food, supplies, and resources needed each Wednesday. Every contribution, large or small, helps us continue opening our doors and serving our community.
Sometimes, a hot meal fills your stomach.
A caring conversation can fill something else.
That’s the Common Good in action: food, friendship, and a place to belong.
