Last year, our ministries made the ornaments.
This year, YOU get to make the magic!
Got a creative idea? A favorite Christmas carol? A little crafty talent—or maybe just a wild idea? Turn it into an ornament! This year, everyone is invited to create an ornament for Chapel Hill's Tinsel & Change Christmas Tree. Bring your family. Challenge a friend. Get the kids involved. Make something beautiful, funny, clever, creative—or completely unexpected!
THE THEME: CHRISTMAS CAROLS
Pick your favorite Christmas carol and turn it into a homemade ornament.
The only rules:
Your masterpiece will be displayed on the Tinsel & Change Christmas Tree in the church lobby.
Let the voting begin!
This isn't your ordinary ornament contest. Your change decides the winner!
1 PENNY = 1 VOTE Put your pennies—and all your other change—into the container beside your favorite ornament. Want to give your favorite a boost? Keep the change coming!
Paper money is welcome too, but it won't count toward the official vote total.
The prize??
The winner will choose which ministry at Chapel Hill receives the proceeds!
And your name will be engraved on the legendary Tinsel & Change Traveling Trophy!
Not bad for something you made at your kitchen table.
Ornaments are due by Saturday, November 28.
As soon as ornaments arrive, they'll go on display and voting will begin. This isn't just about decorating a Christmas tree. Every penny raised supports Chapel Hill's Outreach Programs. That means your creativity can help someone in our community.
