Season of Warmth

Mitten Tree brings our church family together to help neighbors stay warm through the winter. This seasonal outreach collects handmade and store-bought mittens, scarves, and winter hats for children in Wayne Township and guests of our Food Pantry.

Knit, Crochet, Create, Donate

Every October, donations are gathered and prepared for distribution. Items can be:
• Hand-knitted or crocheted
• Homemade from patterns provided by the church
• Store-bought and ready to give
Throughout the year, we also offer free yarn and patterns to anyone who would like to create items for the Mitten Tree in the Connection Hub.

Help Grow the Tree

When the Mitten Tree returns each fall, it becomes a visible sign of generosity, compassion, and community. Whether you give one item or many, your support helps make winter a little warmer for local children and families.
Every contribution helps warm a neighbor in need.
